dont know why and was wondering if there is a easy cure for it ?
the servo is the second hand ace one i got just before xmas from the fella thats going karting.
any help appreciated.
gutted i couldnt make it last week, family full of flu afraid but looking forward to tomorrow.

Morning Sparks,

What cells are you using on your radio? if you're on 4 x AA dry cells it might be struggling if they're not up to voltage.
If you've bought a higher speed or digital servo they're quite power hungry. (I carry a spare 6v NimH pack so we can try that tomorrow)
I'd recommend checking that first - then connections both electrical and mechanical - if you've got a binding linkage around straight ahead then it will be trying to get over that and 'glitching'

Hi,
i did wonder if it was the aa's in the radio, all links are good and connections i have triple checked so it must be the radio.
the new servo does seem extremaly powerful so this might be the excuse i need to upgrade the radio!!
(thats the story i will tell the wife anyway!)
thanks for the offer of trying the 6v pack will see if it helps tomorrow.
got a new radio tray to (annodised) and wondered if it was shorting through that ? as the servo was a very tight fit, but prob not though.

constricted cases can cause problems - I fitted an Ace and filed the plate to suit.
You'll find the new servo is powerful and FAST - your radio should cope - I find my hand to eye co-ordination the problem!

See you tomorrow.

I have Ace Servo's in my ST-RR and @ 4.8V they just not keen.
They jitter a bit as you suggest. At 6V mind, they are fine!
